Sal's Branch Trailhead provides an easy to moderate 2.8-mile loop trail perfect for hiking, running, walking, and dog walking in the heart of Raleigh's Umstead Park. Visitors enjoy well-maintained paths shaded by tall trees, scenic views of a lake, picnic tables, and accessible restrooms at the nearby visitor center.
